Once upon a time, in a cozy little house painted the color of bubble gum, there lived a girl named Luna. Luna was four years old and had a fantastic collection of glow-in-the-dark stars stuck to her ceiling. They twinkled like a million tiny fireflies, but every night when the lights went out, the dark felt like a giant, scary monster ready to gobble her up! 'Why must the dark be so big and grumpy?' she often wondered.

One evening, as Luna was getting ready for bed, she noticed a peculiar noise coming from her closet. It sounded like a mix between a squeaky toy and a very sleepy llama. Curious and a bit wobbly, she tiptoed closer. To her surprise, out popped Lenny the Llama, wearing pajamas that were two sizes too big and a nightcap that looked like a giant cupcake!

'Hello, Luna!' Lenny said, yawning. 'I’m here to help you conquer the fear of the dark!' Luna giggled. 'But you’re a llama! What do you know about the dark?'

'Oh, I know a lot!' Lenny replied, doing a little dance. 'I once spent a whole night in a cave full of snoring bats! It was dark, but I had my glow-in-the-dark llama socks, which are fabulous for lighting up any gloomy place!'

Luna’s eyes widened. 'Glow-in-the-dark llama socks? I want some!' Lenny nodded. 'Well, let’s go on an adventure to find them! But beware of the Grumpy Goon, who loves to steal anything that glows!'

Just then, the lights flickered, and the shadows began to creep. Luna felt a shiver down her spine. 'The Grumpy Goon is here!' she squeaked. But Lenny, with his cupcake cap, puffed out his chest. 'Fear not, my friend! We’ll outsmart him with laughter!'

'Of course they are! But they’re also magical!' Lenny chimed in, doing a silly dance. 'They can make you laugh until you glow!'

The Grumpy Goon, intrigued and slightly tickled by Lenny’s dance moves, began to chuckle. Soon, he was laughing so hard that he forgot all about being grumpy. His frown turned upside down, and he even joined in on the dance!

Luna couldn’t believe her eyes. 'The Grumpy Goon is laughing! What a silly sight!' she shouted, rolling on the floor. They all laughed together until the room was filled with light and joy.

Finally, Lenny said, 'Now, let’s find those magical socks!' They searched high and low, under beds and behind curtains, until they found a pair of bright, glowing socks tucked away in Luna’s toy box. 'Hooray!' they cheered.

As Luna slipped on the socks, the room sparkled with light, and suddenly, she felt calm and safe. The dark didn’t seem so big after all! 'Thank you, Lenny! And thank you, Grumpy Goon!' she exclaimed.

Just then, the Grumpy Goon, now all smiles, said, 'I have a secret! There’s a monster in the closet who likes to steal socks! But not just any socks—glow-in-the-dark socks!'
